Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNN's award winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the talks to raise the ceiling on federal debt and the super committee's discussions. In addition, Bolduan was a general assignment correspondent covering topics like for instance the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program.
