Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
